A few months ago rumors began to circulate the net that Chrisette Michele quit the R&B Divas LA reality show following an open letter she posted to social media about not liking the way she was portrayed. It looks like the soul singer has had a change of heart because she’s just announced that she will indeed be returning.
Chrisette is currently shooting for season 3 of TV One’s “R&B Divas” which premiers January 21st. It’s likely we’ll be seeing her work on “The Lyricists’ Opus,” her debut album off her new independent label Rich Hipster, which drops on Monday, November 24th. She will also be embarking on “The Opus Tour” beginning in San Francisco on January 22nd. After her post on social media, I’m guessing fans will be happy to see Chrisette in a new light this season.
