‘Law & Order: SVU’ Star Christopher Meloni Compares Trump Supporter Kids to “Nazi Youth”

Law & Order SVU star Christopher Meloni took to Twitter to compare two little boys – who are Trump supporters – to “Nazi Youth.”

The actor, who plays Elliot Stabler on the show, was responding to a video of two young boys speaking about how much they love Trump.

In the video that appears to be scripted, a woman is seen talking to her two little boys who are wearing shirts that read “United States of Awesome.” They go on to talk about how excited they are that the Republican National Convention is coming up. Then the boys say that Donald Trump is “fighting for our freedoms,” “keeping us safe,” and has made America “stronger and tougher.”

Finally, they say that they are Trump fans because “we are keeping America first.”

Meloni retweeted the video with the sarcastic comment, “So. CUTE! Not since watching Nazi Youth newsreel footage have, I felt this way. Heil Trump!”

Meloni then added the middle finger emoji.

The comment sparked fury among other Trump supporters, while Meloni’s followers condemned the ”creepy brainwashing” in the video.
