Chuck E. Cheese is getting a grown-up upgrade.
The family-friendly brand just launched Chuck’s Arcade, a new concept built with adults in mind. Designed for the fans who grew up surrounded by animatronics, pizza, and prize counters, this version is for adults only. According to the company, Chuck’s Arcade is all about celebrating the games and memories that defined a generation of kids who are now old enough to drink.
The adult arcade experience is already live in 10 cities across the country, with locations currently open in Texas, New York, Missouri, Oklahoma, Georgia, Connecticut, Florida, and New Hampshire. More spots are expected to open soon.
Each arcade blends modern gameplay with throwback favorites. Guests can rack up tickets, cash them in for prizes, and shop Chuck’s exclusive merch line, which includes retro-style Chuck E. Cheese apparel. While you won’t get the full animatronic performance you remember, one character from the original Munch’s Make Believe Band will be featured at each location. Think more display piece than showtime, but the vibes are still there.
Only one location, in Kansas City, has added food to the mix. Chuck’s Arcade and Pizzeria serves up the brand’s signature pizza, wings, and drinks. Adult guests can grab a beer or glass of wine while taking a trip down memory lane or challenging their friends to a round of air hockey.
Chuck’s Arcade isn’t just a cash-in on nostalgia. It’s a full-circle experience for the kids who never stopped playing, now with no screaming toddlers and a much better drink menu.
