Ciara is back in action and gearing up for her first tour since the birth of her daughter Amora Princess last December, with her husband Russell Wilson. The 38-year-old singer took to Instagram on April 13 to share her post-baby fitness journey, revealing her goal to shed 70 pounds while also preparing for an upcoming tour.
In her candid Instagram post, Ciara shared a photo from the gym and wrote, “Trying to lose 70lbs post baby, prepare for a show and tour while breastfeeding, and running my businesses. Shout out to all my mammas out there getting it in, I see you! ToughSh$t. #MambaMentality🐍.”
The summer promises to be thrilling as Ciara joins forces with hip-hop legends for The Missy Elliott Experience. “So excited to hit the road with Missy, Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland for the OUT OF THIS WORLD Tour!!!” she announced earlier this month. The tour will kick off on July 4 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver and will make stops in 24 cities across North America, including Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City, concluding on August 22 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
Balancing her demanding schedule, Ciara will share parental duties with Wilson. The couple, who also have daughter Sienna, 6, son Win, 3, and son Future, 9 (Ciara’s son with rapper Future), have previously expressed the joy and chaos of their lively household to PEOPLE, describing it as “nonstop entertainment.”
This Easter marked their first as a family of six, where Wilson shared heartfelt moments on Instagram, expressing gratitude for his family and faith: “Grateful for Family. Jesus continues to amaze me! HIS Sacrifice for us all. His Grace & Love for us all is more than enough! Forever Grateful for our babies and His Endless Love!”
