Russell Wilson is on the mend following hand surgery, and Ciara made it clear she is standing by his side throughout his recovery.
The quarterback injured his hand mid-game on Thursday and had to undergo surgery on Friday. Ciara posted a picture standing by Wilson’s hospital bed on her social media following the procedure.
“You’re the toughest Man I know. Always dedicated and committed to do whatever it takes,” she captioned the post. “I love you so much my Sweet King.
She went on to thank Wilson’s surgeon, Dr. Steven Shin, and the rest of his team at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center for her husband’s care.
“Thank you Dr Shin and team for taking care of my baby,” Ciara wrote.
Wilson shared the post to his story, referring to Ciara as “my queen.”
According to the Seattle Seahawks, Wilson’s prognosis is good. “He will start therapy this weekend, and it is highly anticipated that he will return to play later this season,” the team said in a statement.
