JT’s “City Cinderella” has dropped, and it’s packed with caption-worthy lyrics. This 16-track mixtape marks JT’s first solo effort and has received positive reviews from her loyal “Juvies.” The City Girls alum even released a music video for one of the standout tracks, “90s Baby.”
Track four, “Servin,” showcases JT’s Miami roots and her disdain for those who flaunt outdated fashions. She raps, “Mad I got that st on and they st was in the past tense. Woo, talkin’ ’bout you had that st on in 2017, b*h, it’s 2024.”
“Lemon Pepper,” featuring Stunna Girl, is another fan favorite. One notable line on the sixth track, “These Rick Owens, boo, these ain’t prison pants,” appears to be a direct response to Cardi B, who once called JT “prison pants” during an online spat.
Damn, that “Prison pants” line Cardi B said really stuck with JT..
That was two years ago and she still rapping about it 😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/k1mTVoV92O

Track 15, “Star of the Show,” has also caught fans’ attention, especially for its reference to the sitcom “Martin.” On this Kenoe-produced record, JT raps, “Dark skin for the win, things turn like Tina. Ain’t it funny now it’s ’bout Pam? Damn, Gina.” This line suggests JT once felt like a sidekick, akin to Pam from the ’90s sitcom, but now sees herself as the main character, hence the title “Star of the Show.”
“City Cinderella” is a solid project perfect for summer. As fans continue to stream the mixtape, JT’s lyrics are sure to be shared across social media platforms.
