In the clip, Shields made it clear that while she has nothing against anyone’s lifestyle, she doesn’t appreciate being told how to dress, wear her hair, or express her femininity. She explained that she gets trolled by a range of people, including fans, other boxers, and even members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Her main point? She doesn’t need anyone’s approval to validate who she is as a woman. Shields emphasized that she’s comfortable in her own skin and doesn’t need outside voices dictating her appearance or behavior.
The 29-year-old fighter, known as one of the most dominant athletes in boxing, has long been outspoken both inside and outside the ring. While her remarks sparked conversation online, she stood firm on one message: everyone should focus on themselves instead of critiquing her.
