Wright implied that there may have been a cover-up to protect Jay-Z’s marriage to Beyoncé at the time. “You and Jay-Z, down in Vegas in town with Claudia, why don’t you just talk about Kathy?” Wright stated, referencing a trip allegedly involving Claudia Jordan, a claim that would soon be debunked.

Jordan emphasized that during their time together, White never mentioned anything about being involved with Jay-Z, let alone being pregnant by him. “We drank, gambled together, and played craps in Vegas (no Jay-Z),” Jordan clarified. “She was never pregnant around me!
