Cleveland Cavaliers Star J.R. Smith Under Investigation For Stealing and Throwing a Fan’s Phone Over an Unwanted Photo Op

Cleveland Cavaliers star shooting guard #JRSmith is under investigation for allegedly stealing and throwing a fan’s phone.

According to Bleacher Report, the incident occurred Sunday morning in Manhattan after a fan tried to sneak a pic of the New Jersey-bred baller against his will.

However, as the fan tried to snap the flick, Smith reportedly grabbed the phone and chucked it in a nearby construction zone.

In turn, the fan reported the incident to police, claiming his $800 device was damaged. However, officials have not charged Smith with a crime, instead, they are looking to speak with him to discuss the incident.
