Coffee Mate Offering $5,000 To Skip The 5k This Thanksgiving

Coffee Mate is paying one lucky winner $5,000 to stay home this Thanksgiving. What’s the catch? Have a relaxing morning, and stay away from your local 5k race, also referred to as a turkey trot. 

Signing up is really simple. All that is required is to fill out the online form set up by Coffee Mate and avoid running in a turkey trot. It’s really that simple and probably the easiest way to make $5,000. All entries must be received by Thanksgiving Day.

“Coffee Mate knows better than anyone that the morning coffee routine is sacred, but every Thanksgiving, the dreaded turkey trot threatens to disrupt that ritual,” the creamer’s website states. By entering, the company wants you to understand that “you pledge to skip the 5K run in favor of coffee and comfort.”

Doesn’t sound too bad!

To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old and be a resident of the United States. Each person is limited to one entry, but two winners will be chosen. Each will receive a $5,000 prize. 

Winners will be selected on or around Nov. 28.
