Although Colin Kaepernick has yet to land a contract with a new NFL team, the quarterback-turned-social activist is looking to secure the bag elsewhere, all while remaining true to the cause.
According to TMZ, the former baller has filed an application to trademark his signature slogan, “I’m With Kap” for a new merch line.
Kaepernick has been using the popular slogan since his ousting, and although it’s already been printed on a few shirts worn by the likes of G-Eazy, Harry Belafonte and more, the former quarterback is looking to brand and expand.
According to the publication, there has been some talk about a partnership deal with a major clothing brand, so it looks like Kaep is making his first moves to get the ball rolling.
