College Student Sentenced To More Than 15 Years For Stabbing His Two Fathers

After stabbing his two fathers multiple times, a 23-year-old man in California has been sentenced to 15 years and 4 months in prison, PEOPLE reports.

Matthew Boulet plead no contest to his two counts of attempted murder and made admissions to causing great bodily injury.

More than two years ago, on July 24, an argument between the college student and his parents broke out while visiting his family home in Sherman Oaks, California. The argument took a turn for the worse when he stabbed one of his dads in multiple areas, his neck, torso, arms, face, and ears.

Boulet’s second father tried to get between the two but was then stabbed multiple times in his arms, torso, and face. Luckily, both survived.
