Colts Defensive Tackle, David Parry, Arrested on Suspicion of Robbery, Auto Theft and DUI Charges

On Saturday, Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle David Parry, 24, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, robbery and auto theft, in addition to DUI charges in Scottsdale, Arizona.

According to reports, the 2015 fifth round draft pick allegedly assaulted a man and stole a transportation cart, after a night out on the town in Scottsdale.

The victim told officials that he picked up Parry and two other individuals from a downtown bar. However, just before the drop-off, the driver says he attempted to collect payment from the other two riders but was subsequently “struck in the head” by the baller. He says Parry then hopped back into the transportation cart and left, just before crashing. Moments later, officials responded to a call regarding a hit-and-run.

Upon arrival, officials found the cart, which had been smashed into an apartment complex gate, and Parry, who was a short distance away seemingly intoxicated, yelling curses and homophobic slurs at the officers.

The baller was arrested on suspicion of a slew of charges, including a DUI charge, officials state.

Following the incident, the Colts released a statement acknowledging Parry’s arrest saying, they are “gathering more information.”
