Columbus Short has had a pretty eventful year but it seems at least one chapter of his life is finally coming to a close. The Ex-Scandal star pleaded no-contest to an amended felony count of assault likely to cause bodily injury, for punching a man at an engagement party in Los Angeles.
Short won’t have to see the inside of a jail cell but as part of his plea agreement he will have to complete 26 anger management classes and three years of probation.
2014 was full of legal issues and drama for Short. He allegedly pulled a knife on his estranged wife to get her to admit she was cheating on him, he videotaped his wife and side chick fighting, he got fired from Scandal, it was alleged he had a drug and alcohol problem (he admitted to the alcohol), he had a warrant issued of his arrest after skipping court, he lost his Los Angeles home, month after month there was a new headline featuring Columbus. Things have seemingly quieted down for him, despite being arrested at his album release party last month.
Hopefully Columbus Short continues to tie more lose ends from 2014 and gets back on the right path.
