Troubled comedian, Andy Dick, received an extremely light sentence in his sexual battery case. A judge ordered Dick to spend 14 days in L.A. County Jail, as well as completing community service.
However, the sentence turned out to be even lighter, with Dick only spending one day behind bars. The early release was due to jail overcrowding. Dick was convicted of one count of sexual battery and one count of simple battery, stemming from a 2018 incident, where he reportedly squeezed a woman’s butt twice as he passed her on a sidewalk. He also pleaded not guilty to one count of misdemeanor sexual battery for allegedly reached over from the back seat and grabbing his male Uber driver’s crotch.
The drama continued in October of this year when Dick was involved in a street fight with an Uber Eats driver. Since the 53-year-old actor allegedly instigated the incident, he was named a suspect in a battery investigation.
Andy nor his representatives have commented on the day-long jail stay.
