Comedian DC Young Fly Pleads For The Return Of A Bag Containing Jacky Oh’s Death Certificate

Comedian DC Young Fly is urging backpack thieves to return his bag, which contains a deeply sentimental item in it.

The “85 South Show” host took to his Instagram Story following a standup show at the Hollywood Improv Monday night. Once he got off stage, DC discovered his bag was missing. While it doesn’t appear any material goods were in the bag, DC says that the death certificate of his partner, Jacklyn “Jacky Oh” Smith. The former “Wild N Out” model and mother of three passed away in May 2023 after suffering complications due to cosmetic surgery.

“The bag got my girl death certificate in it. It got personal belongings in it. I just need the bag, bro,” DC pleaded on Instagram.

In another video, he explained that the bag was in a vehicle that was broken into while he was performing. DC once again asked that the thieves drop off the bag in somewhere safe instead of leaving it on the street. The comedian said he was not phased by the “couple dollars” that were inside the bag. He is simply concerned with retrieving the bag safely.

“Just drop the bag off,” he asked in the follow-up video.

Fellow comedian Earthquake also asked the public for the safe return of the bag. Sadly, as of now, it does not appear that the bag nor the death certificate has surfaced.
