Common and Angela Rye have split after several months together.
The two sparked rumors of a relationship last year, but the Chicago MC confirmed the relationship in October with SiriusXM’s Bevy Smith, saying, “I’ll just say I’m dating. I’m happy right now. She’s an incredible human being.”

But now, just five months later, sources say the two have called it quits. After Common was seen flying solo for the last few Hollywood events, including the Oscars, Rye confirmed the news to Page Six.

“We have and will always be friends,” the activist reportedly told Page Six. “He is an amazing human being and I’m a much better person because he’s a part of my life. May we all keep loving and living.”
