Conor McGregor Detained and Released For Attempted Sexual Assault, Denies Allegations

Early Saturday, Conor McGregor questioned and taken into custody in Corsica over an allegation of attempted sexual assault, according to French.

According to TMZ, McGregor was sailing around the Mediterranean on his yacht recently with his fiancée, then flew to another location before being arrested.

“Following a complaint filed on September 10 denouncing acts that could be described as attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr. Conor Anthony Mac Gregor was the subject of a hearing by the gendarmerie services,” prosecutors said.

Reports say the incident allegedly took place at a bar.

A rep for Conor McGregor says, “Conor Mcgregor vigorously denies any accusations of misconduct. He has been interviewed and released.”
