Kanye West’s longtime friend and close confidant, Consequence, is demanding an apology from the Chicago star.
On Thursday, Consequence shared a clip of Ye’s new Yeezy Pods on his Instagram. The design was widely talked about this week, as it is the first footwear from Ye since he parted ways with Adidas. However, despite Consequence being one of many to share the sock shoe, his post was not celebratory. Instead, he used the moment to call out West for failing to acknowledge him and his team, who frequently look out for him.
“I have always lent my love, support, and expertise to YE since ConMan Productions circa 2002. So @kanyewest, NEVER again say in public or to others in private that you are ALONE. That’s the biggest SLAP IN THE FACE you could give to your TEAM,” he wrote.

Consequence is referring to a recent rant by West, where he stated that he was alone and suggested that many people turned on him. However, according to Cons, this is untrue. In his post, he pointed out that others, such as the late Virgil Abloh, had been riding with West for years despite his many fallouts.
“You can be the one with the Money And even the Power. But I will always need my RESPECT. If you can, apologize to the Jewish community in Hebrew…Then maybe you should apologize to a few of your guys in English,” he added.
West has not yet responded publicly, but it’s surely only a matter of time before he does.
