Advertising will now be shown on YouTube Shorts, and content creators will be able to reap 45 percent of the revenue from them.
Content creators have a new way of making money, and it’s going to be through having an advertisement on their YouTube Short content. YouTube made the announcement on Tuesday, and the percentage is a 10 percent increase from what a content creator can earn from ads on their other YouTube content, according to CNBCTV.
“We want YouTube to be the place that gives (creators) the greatest support within the changing digital landscape,” said YouTube Chief Product Officer Neal Mohan.
