Michael Boatwright, one of the men convicted in the 2018 murder of rapper XXXTENTACION, is making headlines again after sharing a defiant message on social media.
In a post that quickly gained attention, Boatwright doubled down on his lack of remorse, refusing to apologize for his role in the rapper’s death. He wrote, “Y’all just judge me off this one thing y’all know about me, but y’all don’t even know the truth behind all this… I’m not this evil person that everybody thinks I am… I’m not sorry for nothing I did. #itsstillfreeme.”
Boatwright’s unapologetic stance has ignited widespread outrage, though this isn’t the first time he’s sparked controversy. Earlier this year, he faced backlash after mocking XXXTENTACION’s son, Gekyume, in a disturbing post that upset many fans.
It seems Boatwright remains unfazed by public opinion, despite the gravity of his conviction and the intense backlash he continues to receive.
