The “Metallic Gold” Air Flightposite is strutting its stuff back into stores this year, and this time, it’s bringing a slip-on shoe known as the “Clogposite.”
Initially hitting the scene in the early 2000s, the Nike Flightposite One became a slam dunk thanks to NBA legends like Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. This eye-catching “Metallic Gold” colorway skyrocketed into pop culture history when Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin character rocked it in “Spider-Man.”
Now, the “Metallic Gold” Clogposite is here for a more casual vibe. It sports a sleek greenish-gold Foamposite upper reminiscent of its predecessor, complete with a black neoprene panel for added flair. And for those of you who love a quick getaway, the open-collar design means you can slide in and out without a hitch. The Clogposite joins a growing lineup of Nike clogs. They previously introduced the Nike Calm Mules and the Air Jordan Mule.
The Green Goblin-approved “Metallic Gold” Clogposite will launch on November 1st via the SNKRS app for a cool $140. The Air Flightposite has not yet gotten a release date, though it’s likely they could drop on the same day. For now, Nike has only confirmed they will be a holiday release.
