Welp, after what appeared to be an overhaul of all things ‘cops,’ following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers, it seems like things are quietly going back to normal.
In fact, just three months after the cancellation of the hit show, “Cops,” production is back up and running. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is not expected to air anywhere in the United States.
“We have a long-standing relationship with Cops and [series producer] Langley Productions, and we are pleased they have decided to return, highlighting the outstanding work our deputies provide to all of you,” the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
The series currently has crews in Spokane County, Washington, and apparently, they have been filming since September and will remain in the area for the next month and a half.
