As the fallout continues in the wake of the riots in Washington DC, corporate America has started suspending donations to Republican Congress members who objected to the Electoral College votes.

CNN Business reports that 147 Republicans voted against the certification of the electoral votes that solidified President-elect Joe Biden’s win. Notable members who objected include Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville.

Companies that are withholding donations include Airbnb, American Express, AT&T, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Commerce Bank, Dow Chemical, and Marriott.

Other companies have elected to suspend all political donations. Those companies include Charles Schwab, Citigroup, Coca-Cola, Facebook, JPMorgan, and Visa.
