Break-up season is taking everyone out of the game, and sadly, Rosario Dawson and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker are no exception. The two have reportedly called it quits.
A source with exclusive information about the couple told E! News that they’ve decided to part ways after over two years together, though they remain close friends.
The “Trance” actress and Booker initially met during a political fundraising event in 2018. Months later, they bumped into one another again at another event and “talked for hours, according to the Senator. After the encounter, Booker knew he couldn’t let her get away. The two exchanged numbers and went public with their relationship in 2019 after being spotted at the movies together and at a broadway show.
The two appeared smitten, with Dawson previously telling the Washington Post that she was “absolutely in love” with Booker.
In October 2020, the couple announced that they’d taken a big step by cohabitating with one another.
“It’s time. We were thinking about moving in together anyway, but especially during all of this, it’s been really intense.”
It remains unclear what drove Dawson and Rosario to go their separate ways, but neither has publicly shared details surrounding their breakup.
