“I have constitutional rights!” this is what a white woman yelled at a Costco in Hillsboro, Oregon, after being denied service for refusing to wear a face mask.
“You just have to tell me that you have one,” said a Costco employee to ‘Karen.” “You have to wear it. You have to wear your mask in public. This is private property,” the employee continued.
The woman answers, “I am not a member of Costco.”
“Want me to get that taken care of for you? Well, then you’re going to have to put your mask on,’ the employee replies.
“I will not,’ the woman says.
After asking to speak to the manager and the employee respectfully saying the manager will have a very similar message. The woman proceeded to sit crossed legged in protest.
In what is now a viral video, the employee asked Costco Karen to sit outside while she is still demanding to see the manager. The woman refused to leave the store.
“I’m not leaving. Do you want to carry me?“ the woman answers.
According to Daily Mail, there have been over 9,200 cases of COVID-19 in Oregon and over 200 deaths as of July 2.
