The Royal Buffet in Manchester, CT temporarily closed after things turned violent over crab legs.
Saturday evening, Police were called to the Royal Buffet where a woman complained there was a fight and her 21-year-old son suffered a broken tooth and cut lip.
According to NBC Connecticut, Authorities say the dispute started as an argument concerning a husband and wife combo against a 21-year old over crab legs at the buffet table. The argument escalated to violence when 21-year-old man was punched in the face.
In an effort to protect her son, woman used pepper spray on the husband and wife.
Police arrested Clifford Knight, 45 and Latoya Knight, 38, both charged with disorderly conduct. Clifford was also charged with third-degree assault for knocking the man’s tooth out, while Latoya was additionally charged with threatening.
The buffet closed while the health department evaluated the air quality after the pepper spray contaminated the air. However, the restaurant opened back up at its usual time on Sunday.
