The couple who were accused of murdering a 21-year-old Clark Atlanta student and then leaving her body in a plastic bin at a DeKalb County park were indicted Friday, authorities said.
Jordyn Jones, 22, and her boyfriend, 21-year-old Barron Brantley, are charged in the October 31st death of Alexis Crawford, who was Jones’ roommate.
According to the indictment, Jones and Brantley allegedly ambushed, choked and suffocated Crawford with a garbage bag in the women’s off-campus apartment until she was deceased, placed her body in a bin and dumped her in the Atlanta metro area park. The two returned to the apartment and slept before attending a Halloween party, according to police.
Both Jones and Brantley remain held at the Fulton County Jail without bond, records show.
