Couple Kill A Man And Snitch On Themselves On Facebook Live

A couple in Dallas is facing a lengthy jail sentence over their involvement in the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Drekeiston Alex last week.

Ashley Ann Coleman, 27, and her boyfriend Hakeem Leprince Griffin-White, 17, are accused of murdering Drekeiston Alex as he walked through a parking lot in the 4800 block of Sunnyvale Street, near East Ledbetter Drive around 2:40 p.m. According to reports, White and Coleman approached Alex. An argument between White and Alex ensued. As Alex attempted to walk away,  White pulled out a gun, shooting Alex in the middle of the street.

White fled in a red Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Coleman, who acted as the getaway driver.  Alex was transported to Baylor Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Ashley Ann Coleman is an upcoming rapper in Dallas, TX who goes by the stage name Mamme Kash.  She often boasts about being the Bonnie to her 17-year-old boyfriend’s Clyde. It’s that same bragging that landed both her and her boyfriend in jail.

According to the police affidavit, a Facebook Live video showed Coleman and White “talking about shooting someone and …  handling a firearm and ammunition.” They were also reportedly wearing the same clothes in the Facebook Live stream as the suspects in the surveillance footage of the shooting.

Officers found the PT Cruiser on Friday at an address provided by one of the witnesses who identified the vehicle as Coleman’s car. A U-Haul truck was also parked at the home. When police arrived, both vehicles drove away. The PT Cruiser got away, but police were able to stop the U-Haul driver who said he had been paid to help Coleman and White move. After staking out the home another day, police were able to apprehend Coleman after she attempted to flee again.

In Facebook posts Friday, Coleman and White both denied their involvement in the shooting.

Coleman is being held at the Dallas County Jail on $500,000 bail. She also faces charges from warrants from other jurisdictions. White’s bail is set at $200,000. Neither has entered a plea.

Sources close to the couple say Coleman may also be pregnant by White.
