Ever since Donald Sterling was outed by his side chick as being a racist, things were never the same. After being banned by the NBA and forced to sell his team, Sterling attempted to sue the NBA, saying they had no right. Unfortunately for Sterling, they do.
In his lawsuit Sterling calls his wife Shelly an “inexperienced business person” for selling the Clippers to Steve Ballmer for $2 billion. According to the courts, Shelly did a great job because she sold the team for the highest price in NBA history. It was even 4 times what the Bucks went for in 2014.
The courts also had a signed letter showing that Donald authorized Shelly to sell the team, contradicting his claims that he was shafted. In the meantime, Shelly has since called off the divorce from her husband.
It appears it is cheaper to keep her.
