Creative Ways to Ring in 2022 Amid Covid-19

New Year’s Eve is right around the corner, and people are looking forward to 2021 coming a close. But thanks to Covid-19, we might not be able to celebrate the New Year in the same way we used to.

Many are feeling anxious about being in public due to the spike of the Omicron variant. Here are some safe, creative ways to say goodbye to 2021.

Get an Airbnb with a small group of friends

If you want a touch of New Year’s fun, consider renting an Airbnb. It’s a way to get out of the house and still be in a safe environment. Make sure everyone tests negative for COVID.

Start on New Years Resolutions

Get in early start planning the new year with resolutions. Create a list of things to help you evolve as a better businessperson, friend, or significant other. Add a list of books to read every month or a new health goal. 

Enjoy fireworks at home. 

To ensure a fun night, enjoy fireworks at home. Those include pinwheels, sparklers, smoke bombs, snack-type fireworks, and bang snaps. These can guarantee a fun and safe way to celebrate the New Year in the front or backyard with supervision.

If you’re not up for going outside this year, enjoying some of the best New Year’s Eve celebrations is always an option. NBC’s “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party Hosted By Miley Cyrus and Peter Davidson” and ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Secrest” with both air around the same time on New Year’s Eve. they both will include special guest and musical performances, along with their famous fireworks.

Create an Outdoor Picnic

Spend time outdoors, basking in nature as you gather a small group of friends to enjoy an outside picnic. Add a blanket, pillow, table, and lights to set the decor. Order food or make a charcuterie board from scratch. Lastly, bring music to create a perfect NYE intimate party vibe.

Have a game night tournament

Grab a glass of wine and all your favorite games to enjoy a game tournament. Gather everyone in a safe environment and start a new game at the top of each hour until midnight. From Tabu and hangman to Life and card games, there’s much to do! Of course, make sure everyone tests negative for covid beforehand.
