Crew Members At ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ Are Pissed That Wendy Shared Personal Information With Temporary Host Nick Cannon And Not Them

Wendy Williams has been on hiatus from her daytime talk show for some time, and in her place has been #NickCannon, who has been doing a pretty good job holding down the fort. However, sources say he may have ruffled some feathers behind the scenes.

According to The Daily Mail, staff members of the show are “furious” with Williams for not including them in the update concerning her mental health and having that private conversation only with Nick, who inadvertently spilled the beans on air. Because her crew members are seemingly unaware of the show’s future, the lack of communication posed a major issue. In fact, some are even questioning Williams’ reason for not returning to the show. 

One team member stated, “Many of us have been here since the early days, and it’s a complete joke to be kept in the dark like this. How could she be so selfish? We all rely on this paycheck.” The source then proceeded to call Wendy out for her alleged hypocritical ways.

“I mean, please. She has made a fortune from tearing people down. However, when it comes to her own life, it’s all a secret. Imagine if this was another celebrity living their life like she does. She’d be sipping the tea and talking about it on ‘Hot Topics’ every damn day. She’s such a hypocrite.”

Another Wendy staff member told The Daily Mail they believe there is another reason for her absence, as she expressed her frustration about the private conversation with Nick. “She’s managed to keep the real reason for her absence a secret, however, you can’t leak something that no one knows,” the staffer said. “She’ll allegedly pick up the phone for Nick Cannon, but she can’t tell us what is going on.”

Williams has yet to solidify a date for her return to the talk show circuit.
