Cristina Mackey Says That She Believes God Guided Her To Date Rick Ross To Get Her To The Next Chapter In Life [Video]

Rick Ross’ former fling, Cristina Mackey, recently made an interesting suggestion regarding her ties to him. In an Instagram live video, the fitness trainer and model, had a Q&A session with her viewers while putting on makeup. During the live, Mackey was asked about her time in Miami. She shared that she’s been in love with the city since she got there.

“What made you stay in Miami?” Mackey said. “Have you been to Miami? This place is incredible.”

While her response wasn’t too shocking, what she said next caught many people off guard. Without revealing any names, Mackey stated that God told her to date the Rick Ross to help her get to the next level in her life.

“To me I feel like God was like ‘aye I need you to date this person real quick so I can get you where you need to go. You need to be in this city,'” she added.

If you’re unaware, Ross and Mackey kicked off in December 2022 and publicly showed their affection for one another. Despite their brief romance being filled with grand gestures, the two officially called it a quits days after Ross was spotted with another woman at a Miami Heat vs. Detroit Pistons game. However, according to Mackey, their relationship ended two weeks prior before the sighting. She also clarified that she was not bothered by the situation and is making the necessary steps to move forward.

“I’ve never experienced ‘getting left.’ I’m just not docile. I don’t feel played; the sales on mackeybody.com are thriving and I’m grateful,” Mackey said in a statement. “The situation was beautiful and I meant every word during our amazing six month run. If others are upset about my joy/pride in the moment, that’s their stress to bear.”

She added,  “We had a clean break two weeks ago and I never pretended to be the last. I embrace both negative and positive traction with love. And no, I won’t be appearing on anybody’s podcast.”
