Diddy has been known to cut some of Hollywood’s biggest celebs out of his personal Instagram photos.
It all started with Diddy’s 2015 photo of #Rihanna, #Cassie, #JayZ, #Beyonce and himself, sitting front row of Yeezy Season 2 Fashion Show. However, it wasn’t until Kim Kardashian posted the original photo, which included her, Alexander Wang and Anna Wintour, that we knew Diddy had a true gift for photo cropping. But, Diddy’s Instagram savagery didn’t end there.
In his 2017 Met Gala photo, which was captioned, “#teamlove #blackexcellence,” Diddy strategically carved out the Jenners, who were spotted in the original photo on Kylie’s page. However, things took a turn for the worse, when Diddy’s crop game upgraded to full-blown photoshop.

Just after the biggest night in music, Diddy took to Instagram to share photos from the special weekend. “3 Kings! 3 GREAT FRIENDS! Love you guys #BlackGreatness,” the music mogul wrote, underneath a photo of Jay-Z, #KendrickLamar and #Nas. But, when the original photo surfaced, which featured French Montana (who was physically photoshopped out) and Fabolous, that’s when fans new that Diddy was not new to this, but true to this.

The incident took the Twitterverse by storm, with many social media users recalling the many times Diddy used his skill to strategically cut people out of his photos. But now, according to the New York native, the entire situation is just a big misunderstanding. In fact, he says he doesn’t even control his social media account.

Diddy recently sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to talk about his crop game history, which he accredits to the “young kid” who works for him, the @blast reports.

“There were people that were taken away that didn’t deserve to be taken away, I had nothing to do with it,” Diddy said of the alteration. “It was just this young kid that works for me, he wanted a picture of Jay-Z, Nas and Kendrick.,” he said, adding, “My friends haven’t been talking to me for like two weeks.”
