Do you remember Lil Tay? Well, she might be returning to the limelight soon if her parents can get through their custody battle.Sources tell TMZ that the kid rapper is home in Vancouver where her parents Angela Tian and Christopher Hope are in a custody battle for full control over her life and career. Lil Tay’s parents currently share custody, and they have been fighting in court since late 2018 and are waiting for the judge to make some custody rulings in the next few weeks.

The judge’s decision will have a huge impact on Lil Tay’s future. Sources say her parents both want her to continue in the entertainment industry, but both parents have a different plan to keep their daughter relevant.
Angela Tian, Lil Tay’s mom, wants to let her do whatever she wants, even if that means using foul language in social media videos. Her father on the other hand wants Lil Tay to have a more traditional career path of acting and singing. Her father, Christopher Hope, has expressed his concerns about her social media antics: he feels that other people were taking advantage of her just to make a profit for themselves.

Lil Tay has been absent from social media since June 2018 after her father got a court ruling which ordered her to return to Vancouver and stop posting to her Instagram account of 1.8 million followers.
