Cynthia Bailey is opening up about her possible departure from Real Housewives of Atlanta.
On Thursday, the supermodel and entrepreneur appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, where she addressed rumors surrounding her alleged firing from the franchise.
Williams confessed to Bailey that she felt “there’s nothing more exciting that you can give to us,” hinting that it may be time for her to leave the series for good.
The host went on to add that she had no desire to see Bailey fight with the other women or go through another divorce in front of the world.
“Like, I think that it’s time. The only thing then is, what will you do for a paycheck? But I was thinking, ‘This is still a model, just like Christie Brinkley!’ You can model.”
Bailey was not bothered by Williams’ comments. In fact, she says that while “nobody really wants to be fired,” the next phase of her career with RHOA is “God’s will” but that she had a great tenure with the series.
“I have had an amazing run. It’s been 11 amazing years as a consistent peach-holder,” Bailey stated.
The 54-year-old has starred on Real Housewives of Atlanta since its third season, which debuted in 2010. The most recent season documented Bailey’s wedding journey with TV correspondent husband, Mike Hill.
