D.L. Hughley and Daughter Ryan Shepard Speak Out Against Mo’Nique Amid Feud

It doesn’t appear that the feud between D.L. Hughley and Mo’Nique will slow down anytime soon. Just one day after Hughley’s family got dragged into the disagreement; the comedian is speaking out again. 

“THE LOVE BETWEEN OUR FAMILY IS EVIDENT AND CLEAR AND WHILE I’M BEYOND PROUD OF THE WAY MY ELDEST DAUGHTER @brownsugarandbourbon HANDLED THIS DISGUSTING ATTACK, THIS IS NOT THEIR FIGHT,” he captioned a screenshot of an Instagram post from his daughter, Ryan Nicole Shepard, on Saturday. “THEY HAVE BEEN REPEATEDLY ATTACKED FOR NO REASON, THIS NEEDS TO END.”

Hughley promised to speak more on the situation later today. Shepard called out Mo’Nique for disrespecting her mother, her younger sister, and her father in her post. She referred to the comedienne as “two crayons short of the full box,” writing that she is mentally unstable and immoral.

“Nothing is too far in your quest to prove a point, and I’m blessed that my parents raised children who have no idea how you could possibly go there,” Shepard continued. We Hughleys are going to have a good *ss day and a blessed life.”

The comments come on the heels of a social media post made by Mo’Nique calling out Hughley for not protecting his daughter when she accused someone he knows of violating her. The comedians have been locked in a battle of words after Mo’Nique railed against Hughley during a comedy show, claiming that she was supposed to be the headliner.
