Da Baby’s Legal Team Reacts To Woman Who Claims He Slapped Her; Says The Woman Is Lying

Da Baby has been the talk of social media for the last few days after a viral video captured the star hitting a fan that happened to be female.

Following the video making its rounds around the internet, DaBaby owned up to his mistake and apologized in a video message.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“I do sincerely apologize. I do,” he said in his apology video. “I’m very sorry to there was a female on the other end of that flashlight on that phone.”

He continued by adding that he couldn’t see that the victim was a woman due to a bright light shining in his face.

“Keep in mind; I couldn’t see you cuz you got the flash this close to me, which is ok,” he added. “They didn’t put it as close as you put it, but a lot of people had flashing me. That’s ok. That’s what I signed up for.”

The “Suge” rapper insisted he would have reacted the same had a man been on the other end of the cellular device that was shining on him.

In response, the alleged victim came forward to speak out on what happened in an interview with TMZ.

“We went upstairs on the stairway to take a picture at the picture booth by the stage,” Tyronesha Laws explained. “I see security saying ‘move, move, move, everyone move out the way.’ I was standing next to a young lady, and all of a sudden I turned around and I said to my boyfriend, ‘There go DaBaby, he’s coming through.’”

As the woman next to Laws opened her camera and flashed a picture of the rapper, that’s when she claimed that DaBaby struck her.

“I woke up, my head was hurting really, really bad,” Laws explained. “The top of my right cheekbone, it was hurting like it was tender. So, I did go to the hospital, and I was diagnosed with a contusion to my cheekbone.”

However, DaBaby and his legal team are singing a different tune.

According to his attorney Drew Findling, Laws isn’t the one being hit in the video, TMZ reports.

Findling insists you can see in the video, that DaBaby hit, the individual who shined a light on the rapper’s “left eye,” and not anybody standing adjacent to the person.

Findling also explained that multiple people have come forward telling his law firm that they’re the victim from the attack, however, Findling says they have yet to identify the right person.
