Da Brat calls out Bow Wow after he addressed on Jermaine Dupri’s ‘106 & Park’ claims.
As we’ve previously reported, Bow Wow addressed Jermaine Dupri’s statement, alleging he is responsible for the creation of ‘106 & Park.’
Bow debunked JD’s claims on Twitter Sunday morning saying BET’s president of programming at the time, Stephen Hill, is the reason why the show came to life.
“JD aint create 106&Park stop the cap. Stephen hill Rick Ghrimes & all the great people in the BET OFFICE & staff created that show. All i did was capitalize off of what they created and made it mine. I would know…. I am mr 106! I would never take away from someones creativity,” Bow tweeted.

Shortly after, rapper Da Brat took to social media and called out Bow for being “rude” and “disrespectful” towards JD.
“You are being so rude and disrespectful to the person who believed in you, nurtured you, made you a complete star,” she wrote in the post.
She continued, “he has never done anything to you but help. I ain’t finna letchu drag the most confrontational person who loved, cared for u and spoiled yo ass for years.”
During an interview with “The GAUDS Show,” JD said he created the hit music show for Bow Wow.
“‘106 & Park’ was created by me,” JD said. “I created the show for Bow Wow. I was watching MTV and they had ‘TRL.’ They catered to NSYNC, The Backstreet Boys, and anything white that was coming out. They were allowing the kids to scream and holler at them. I called Stephen Hill and told him that we needed a show like TRL because they wouldn’t put a 12-year-old black boy on rapping. Nobody was on TV at 12 years old causing that kind of ‘fandomonium.’”
