Anthony Anderson is officially off the hook in the investigation into the sexual assault allegations made against him.
If you recall, earlier this year, a woman told officials that the “Black-ish” star sexually assaulted her last year after the two met at an event she catered. In the docs obtained by The Blast, the woman said the two met a second time to discuss future business opportunities, and that’s when the alleged assault took place. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At the time, Anderson denied the allegations, saying, “It’s unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false.” But now, just weeks later, Anderson is officially in the clear. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to The Blast, the District Attorney has refused to prosecute over “lack of sufficient evidence to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the allegations.”

Officials say the alleged victim refused to cooperate with officials, despite the investigators warning that the statement would be “vital” to the investigation. Now, without the reporting party’s details of the incident, there is no case.
