In an Instagram story posted on Tuesday, Da Baby set the record straight, “Ya’ll stay positive.”

”The devil gone always try you when you doing good,” he added.

In the incident, which allegedly occurred in Vegas in November, an unidentified driver went to DaBaby’s location to escort him and his group of associates to the Hard Rock Hotel. After making a few stops, it was alleged that the rapper and his entourage decided to start smoking weed, which the driver asked the group not to do.

In response, DaBaby and his group allegedly started throwing verbal slurs at the driver. There were even reports that someone within DaBaby’s crew went as far as to threaten to kill the driver.

“You’re lucky you’re not in my city because I would have killed you cracker motherf***er,” A member of DaBaby’s entourage said, allegedly.

When they had reached the hotel, and the driver informed them that it was time to pay for the ride, the group reportedly refused to. That’s when, According to the driver, himself, DaBaby hit him in the back of his head, and stated, “You ain’t the boss.”

In light of these claims, DaBaby assures his followers that the alleged incident did not take place, and his lawyer, Drew Findling, corroborates the rapper’s story in a statement to TMZ.

“A 100% false accusation which suspiciously pops up in February regarding an alleged incident in November. We can smell another attempted money grab,” Findling said.

According to TMZ, there is an active warrant out for the rapper’s arrest for a misdemeanor battery charge, despite the rapper and his lawyer’s claims of innocence.
