Rapper Dababy has been dropped from yet another festival lineup following the homophobic comments he made at Rolling Loud Miami.
Founders Entertainment announced that DaBaby would be removed from Governors Ball in New York just days before the event is set to begin on September 24. They assured that another artist would be announced in the coming weeks. This is the second festival in the last 24 hours to drop DaBaby from its schedule, following Lollapalooza’s announcement on Sunday.
“Founders Entertainment does not and will not tolerate hate or discrimination of any kind,” the statement reads. “We welcome and celebrate the diverse communities that make New York City the greatest city in the world. Thank you to the fans who continue to speak up for what is right. Along with you, we will continue to use our platform.”
Since last month, Dababy has been dropped from boohooMan, Lollapalooza, and Parklife in the U.K.
