Da Baby has one less legal issue to worry about now that it’s been announced that the rapper won’t be charged over his participation in a brawl at the Dallas Fort Worth airport.
According to TMZ, the potential charges stemmed from an incident that took place last month when the rapper and a friend got into a scuffle with an airport food stand employee.
The rapper, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, had his lawyer Michael Heiskell, present video evidence to the Tarrant County D.A. that showed his client didn’t commit any assault. As a result, prosecutors decided not to proceed with charging him over the incident.
While he’s in the clear in this case, he still has to sort out his latest legal issues involving a party promoter who claims he got beat up and robbed by the rapper.
Last week, DaBaby was arrested in Miami following an alleged assault on a concert promoter, who allegedly stiffed him out of $10,000. He was held in jail for 2 days due to a warrant out of Texas for the airport incident. However, he’s still facing the possibility of a battery charge for the incident.
