DaBaby Won’t Face Charges for North Carolina Property Shooting

DaBaby won’t be facing any charges after a trespasser was shot at his North Carolina home on April 13.

The North Carolina district attorney’s office says it reviewed the case and decided not to move forward with any charges, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.

As previously reported, the shooting took place on a football field outside the rapper’s Troutman home after a trespasser scaled the estate’s walls. The intruder was reportedly shot in the leg after exchanging words with DaBaby.

Audio of 911 call from DaBaby detailed the incident.

“He’s trespassing on my property. … I don’t know what he’s here for, what he here to take, what he here to do, but he’s shot in his leg, he’s neutralized until you guys get here,” Da Baby can be heard saying in the 911 tape.

According to WSOC-TV, the district attorney’s office said Thursday it’s not releasing the identity of the victim or the shooter.

However, DaBaby seemingly confirmed he was the shooter on Instagram.

“Chose not to take a n***a life the other day & it felt great.👍🏾 Buddy ain’t deserve to go, I step righteously. Heal up & live my boy! Just don’t bring ya ass back💥,” he shared on an Instagram post of a clip of Cam’ron’s classic Paid in Full line, “N***as get shot every day, B. You’ll be aight, n***a. You tough right?”
