The sudden passing of the beautiful Kim Porter has hit many very hard. Many of her close friends have shared a lot of memories with the model, actress, mother, and entrepreneur.
Music Producer Dallas Austin shared a post on Instagram about how he and Kim Porter grew up together, went to prom together, and never missed a beat when it came to their friendship.
Now, what many didn’t know was that the love story in the hit HBCU movie, “Drumline” was based on their relationship. “Most people don’t know that Zoe Saldana played the role of Kim in “Drumline” as nick cannon played my character,” he wrote.
Austin went on to share other memories of him and Porter, from seeing “Purple Rain” fifteen times to them getting out Columbus, Georgia to be somebody.
