Dallas Cowboys’ Terrance Williams is under criminal investigation over a hotel room incident with a popular Instagram model.
The incident occurred on Saturday after Nicole Zavala phoned officials to report an alleged assault. According to police docs obtained by TMZ, Zavala said she met Williams, who is out with injury, at a nightclub in Miami and was later invited back to his hotel room. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, after a short time together, an argument ensued and Zavala said she was asked to leave. But, when she refused, she said the baller called a friend for backup. That’s when the friend allegedly grabbed her by the arm and dragged her out the room.
After further investigation, Williams provided additional details about the alleged altercation. According to the publication, Williams told officials that he kicked the woman out because she had a boyfriend and he wasn’t interested in the drama. In fact, he even turned over video footage of Zavala pouting on the bed, as part of her refusal to leave the room when asked.
Although no arrests have been made, officials are reportedly investigating the incident as a “battery report.” In the meantime, the model has acknowledged that Williams never put hands on her, and his lawyer has maintained that the baller “did absolutely nothing wrong.”
