Damar Hamlin reportedly asked doctors about the outcome of the Bills and Bengals game that led to his hospitalization.
A few days after Hamlin collapsed on the field after being involved in a tackle, the Bills player is awake and seems to have a full memory. Hamlin woke up on Wednesday night and has been responsive ever since.
Despite being in critical condition, Hamlin still has football on his mind.
According to Dr. Timothy Pritts, Hamlin wanted to know what happened in the game and if the Bulls had won. The doctors did not specifically answer his question but gave a better answer.
“Yes, Damar. You won. You’ve won the game of life,” Dr. Pritts recalled while on a video call.
Nevertheless, Hamlin remembering the game is a good sign that he will make a full recovery.
