Back in January, Dame Dash made headlines over his controversial interview with Nick Cannon for his YouTube show, “Cannon’s Class,” in which the two discussed a slew of controversial topics – including Jay-Z’s alleged relations with a young Foxy Brown and his work relationship with R. Kelly after his highly-publicized child porn trial.
As the interview footage surfaced, many, including Funk Flex and 50 Cent, called the two out for essentially speaking out of turn. From there, Dash used the momentum of the Cannon interview, to further discuss his former partner and his own relationship with the self-proclaimed Pied Piper of R&B, blaming his late girlfriend, Aaliyah, for their working relationship.
But now, as last month’s drama continues to die down, Dash is looking to separate himself from all the drama and make amends with his longtime friend and former business partner, Jay-Z, and anyone else he may have offended.
“I’m chilling I been minding my own business, I have no beef with anybody,” Dash said in a video he posted to Instagram. “So JAY-Z if I’ve offended you, I apologize. Lyor Cohen if I offended you I apologize. Steve Stoute if I offended you, I apologize.”
”I was a little aggravated about Aaliyah, y’all just caught the brunt of it,” he said, adding he was ”passed it.”
“It’s cool, I’m not angry no more,” he said, adding additional apologies to Jim Jones, Biggs and more in another video. “I called Jim Jones today, and I miss him. I want him to be happy. And Jay, you know, that friendship we had was cool man I miss it.”
