Dame Dash Says He Bought Back Majority Interest In Ex-Wife Rachel Roy’s Clothing Company, Plans To Relaunch With Daughters

Back in November, Dame Dash dropped his $5 million lawsuit against Lee Daniels after the director finally paid off his multi-million dollar debt to the Roc-A-Fella co-founder. The repayment came after Dash confronted Daniels on camera, demanding he cough up the cash, plus interest owed on a $2 million loan and agreement.

Two months later, Dash used the cash to pay off a $400,000 debt owed to Kerison & Willoughby Capital, which had been trying to collect its payment for eight years. Weeks after that, Dash issued apologies to his old friends and brothers, Jay-Z, Biggs, Jim Jones and more, as he blamed his longstanding anger on the death of his ex-girlfriend, Aaliyah.

Now, as Dash continues to right his wrongs, settle his finances and get back to his boss business moves, the hip-hop mogul has announced a brand new venture with his family.

“I’m very proud to announce that like a real boss..I’ve bought back the majority interest in Rachel Roy [Collection] from [its owner] #Topsondowns,” Dash said, of his reinvestment into his ex-wife’s clothing company, the Rachel Roy Collection. “They didn’t want me to announce yet because they wanted Rachel to sign something saying she wouldn’t sue them, but that has nothing to do with me…so I’m celebrating cause why would Rachel not want me to buy back the company I invested 6 million of my own money into (like a real boss) only so Ava Dash and Tallulah Dash Would have a company to run.”

“So I bought it back, and I’m gonna relaunch luxury with Ava and Tallulah as the face,” Dash said, explaining his decision to make his daughters the focal point of the new luxury line. “We are a real fashion family for years now, and we are 100 percent indy 100 million dollar a year company family owned by a black man…”

“Rachel, please don’t mess this deal up and if you do please publicly explain yourself,” Dash added, as he then addressed the media. “Who ever doesn’t write about this is an obvious hater y’all said I was broke the last 10 years but when a black man really buys a company y’all don’t wanna say sh*t.”
