Damian Lillard Wants You to Ball On the Court Without Breaking the Bank With His New Affordable Sneaker

NBA baller Damian Lillard has debuted a more affordable sneaker in his long-running partnership with Adidas

The Portland Trail Blazers point guard has seen success with the athletic brand since 2015, when his first signature shoe, the D Lillard 1, was released. On Saturday, Lillard tweeted a photo of his latest creation, the Dame Certified line. The white, red and black sneaker pictured features bounce cushioning, Lillard’s signature logo on the tongue and back, and enhanced traction, making it ideal for the basketball court. Going for an eco-friendly approach, the footwear is constructed with over 50% of recycled materials. The shoe also comes in blue and white and a white, yellow, and green colorway. What makes the Dame Certified line more attractive is the $95 price point, which is a welcome relief to parents of blossoming athletes as the cost of other goods continues to skyrocket.

For Lillard fans, they have two new options in his Adidas collection. The Dame 8’s are another signature shoe that has recently been revealed, though they are priced a bit higher at $130. The 32-year-old says he will be rocking both offerings during his games this year.

Adidas has both sneakers in stock on its website and in select retail stores. Given the low cost, the Dame Certified line is excluded from promotions and discounts. However, when buyers order from Adidas, they have the option to use Affirm, Klarna, or Afterpay to pay for their new kicks over time.
